A huge global year: a January UK tour (recorded and later released as the live double album *All the Fun of the Fair*, announced on 4 March for release on 18 October 2024), a Netherlands leg in April, summer festival dates in England, an Australia/New Zealand tour in July–August, and a UK/Ireland tour in November–December that carried the "All the Fun of the Fair" tour name into 2025's European leg. A Belgian festival date at W-Festival, Ostend, was announced and then cancelled in August. A twelve-date German/Swiss run as special guest of Magnum in April was announced in October 2023 and cancelled that December; ticket aggregators still list several of those dates as if they happened. 🎙️ marks dates where a recording exists

- 08 Dec 2024TributeOnlineHugh published a tribute to the harmonica player John Dominic, "a long standing, dear friend", who played on "Dark Side Of The Room" and "The Prison's Going Down" on the *Hi Fi* album, guested occasionally at live shows, and was sampled on the *Moments of Madness* title track. Hugh recalled that "prison… was especially difficult, as it changes from one key to another repeatedly and involved the playing of two separate harmonicas", and remembered him as "a singular man, once you met him you never forgot him. He had a bright sense of humour and a keen sense of right and wrong"
